Service Agreement for Brooke’s Sweets & Treats

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT. BY USING OUR SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER TO READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR PURCHASE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, PLEASE DO NOT PROCEED FURTHER WITH YOUR PURCHASE. 


Invoices: Brooke’s Sweets & Treats will send a detailed invoice once all information is received from the order form to the email provided from the customer. Once the invoice has been sent the customer has 24-36 hours to pay the invoice. Full payment due at the time of ordering. Unpaid or overdue invoices will cancel the order completely within 24-36 hours after the invoice has been sent to the customer.Payment method is completed electronically and paid via Venmo. Other electronic payment methods are available but may cost an extra fee.

Cancelation Policy: Payments are non-refundable unless cancelled 2 weeks PRIOR to the date of scheduled pick up/delivery. However, $30 of that payment is a non-refundable fee that goes towards the consulting fee and/or time spent gathering material and supplies needed for the order. If orders are cancelled with less than 2 weeks before scheduled pick up/delivery, the client will forfeit any payment(s) made. This is due to materials that may have been acquired, preparation work that has been performed, and a time slot that now remains unfilled. Payment may not be used or rolled over for any other orders.

 

Cake Handling & Refunds: Once the order has been picked up by the client or accepted it is considered "accepted". Brooke’s Sweets and Treats is no longer responsible for your order.

All products are the responsibility of the client once it leaves Brooke’s Sweets & Treats hands. No refunds for cracks, smudges, melted frosting, etc. after acceptance. Photos are taken of our cakes and desserts prior to pick up/delivery for documentation. Clients picking up cake agree to place cakes on floorboards of cars or on a flat trunk space. Drivers agree to drive with caution and not make sudden turns or stops. If doing so it may result in damaged cake and/or desserts. 

Client agrees to provide a sturdy and stable display and table for the cake or items ordered. You accept full responsibility for any damage done to cakes not being properly stored in an air conditioned environment or refrigeration. Buttercream cakes must be refrigerated. They are safe at room temperature for 5-7 hours.

Modifications to Orders: It is important that you look over the design details and information given on your detailed order. Changes to your order after final payment is paid are limited to certain exceptions. Changes made to orders may be subject to an additional fee. Please make sure all details have been discussed and confirmed prior to accepting.

Allergen Notice: Our products may come in contact with or contain allergens such as dairy, nuts, wheat, chocolate, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests or customers about these allergen risks and hold us harmless against allergic reactions.
